Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown made history as the first active NBA player to participate in a BIG3 game. He joined Team Big in the BIG3 All-Star Game in London to support the local charity, London Youth. BIG3 founder Ice Cube praised Brown and called him his hero for making such a significant statement. Despite Brown's nine points, five rebounds, and two assists, Team Big couldn't secure a win, losing to Team 3 with a score of 51-42. After the game, Brown expressed his reasons for playing, emphasizing the importance of charity work and community support.
Shortly after Brown's appearance, the BIG3 championship game took place, with Jordan Crawford leading the Enemies to victory against the Triplets. Now, Brown will focus on his NBA career and his goal of winning an NBA title with the Celtics. Although the team faced a disappointing defeat in the Eastern Conference finals last season, Brown signed a historic five-year supermax extension worth up to $304M. The Celtics will start their training camp on October 3 and face the New York Knicks on October 25 in their first game of the season.
